If you believe your staff is your business' greatest asset and you would like to look at ways to address morale, communication and change issues, then our service is for you. Conflict prevention is better then conflict resolution Miscommunication is one of the greatest drains on productivity in any business. Active listening is only half the story. There are additional skills in communicating that are required for a business to have strong lasting communication systems. We advocate for a communication style we call "Intent Solutions" that improve communication at a fundamental relationship level. The method creates clarity, reduces existing inter-personal tensions and misunderstandings. There is the added benefit of upskilling staff and management's emotional literacy. Emotional Intelligence is: "…the innate potential to feel, use, communicate, recognize, remember, learn from and understand emotions." Steve Hein on his website EQ.org 2005. We see emotional literacy as the level of your emotional intelligence that you are able to currently utilize. Just as reading literacy increases the more you learn and practice reading, so too emotional literacy increases the more you learn about and practice the skills outlined in the definition above. The more skilled/ talented a person is at knowing when they feel emotion, recognize it in both themselves and others, learn from and manage their emotions and others (ie the more emotionally literate) the more effective the person will be in the work place.
